3A News:  June Edition

THE LAST NEWSLETTER!

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Your children have brought me joy each day of this school year.  They have accomplished and grown so much and I am so proud of them.  I would like to wish all the students good luck in grade four as they start their learning in the junior years.

A note to my 3Awesome students:

Everyone’s good at something – find your “thing.”

Don’t ever forget :   “You are smart.  You are kind.  You are important.”

Thank you for being a part of my life this past school year.  Have a fantastic summer!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Allison

Curriculum news:

Students have been busy finishing up their final projects.  All the students have researched and presented their pioneer projects.  Next week we will be making our own butter and bannock bread to go with it!

We are also finishing up our Science Unit on Plants.  The students are waiting for the seeds to germinate and will be responsible for keeping their bean plants alive this summer.

In Literacy, students continue to work on publishing a variety of texts in their anthologies.  They are excited to share their writing with their friends and family.

In Health and Media Literacy, our students have created some very informative and entertaining videos about Bicycle Safety.  Those videos will be posted on the blog next week.

Finally, we continue to investigate patterns in Numbers and Geometry.  We will be working furiously to get through this last unit next week.
