The students are enjoying the novel, "The Miraculous Adventures of Edward Tulane." Here, they get into role and imagine themselves as one of the characters from the novel. Check out their portraits. I think the students did a wonderful job changing the eyes and mouths to portray certain emotions. The next step will be to make clay models to portray each specific feeling.
